I agree with you. There are many other factors to consider than the ones I suggested. But what I actually meant was that on this forum there seem to be an exaggerated belief in that divephysicians have all the answers concerning all aspects of diving and illness which is not true, in my opinion. I think we have to be the spider in the web and collect data from all other specialities, consult the specialist where we don´t have proper indepth knowledge. For exampel: concerning side-effects of cytostatic treatment we as diving physicians might not be the best in determining the severity and significans of certain side-effects. My point is that we need to have a dialogue with the oncologist. Don´t you agree?
